Everything Everywhere All at Once starring Michelle Yeoh is a masterpiece which won Oscars in several categories like Best Picture, Best Directing, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Editing.

After watching the film, I felt compelled to make a video series exploring some reasons why the film has made such an impact on viewers around the globe and how it ties in to esoteric ideas about enlightenment.

This video is my contribution to Maybe Day 2022. Maybe Day is an annual celebration of the life and work of Robert Anton Wilson.

Wilson was a writer, philosopher, and guerrilla ontologist who explored alternative and esoteric subject matter in a humorous and informative way. His career spanned several decades and he is beloved by dedicated fans around the globe.

His work came from a place of kindness, empathy, compassion. He clearly hoped that his work would to serve to reduce suffering in the world.

In this video, I use his poignant writing about the Network of Love as a launching point.

For years now, I’ve talked up Jung’s work (particularly his latter work) to anyone who will listen. I’ve noticed that Jung is misunderstood and/or misrepresented online by people who seem afraid of women rights and LGTBQ+ rights - people like Jordan Peterson. This has led to me to reflect on what Jung’s message really was. Had I in fact been talking up a reactionary figure?
